THE ARTWORK

Intuited Colour explores expression, identity and Black pride through portraiture, colour and texture.

LOK's portrait emerges through a muted palette of grey, dusty pink and earthy tones, creating a sense of quiet intensity. The artwork invites the wearer to consider how identity can be felt, interpreted and communicated beyond words.

WOVEN INTO THE FABRIC

Jacquard weaving allows individual threads to be controlled to create intricate imagery, tonal variation and texture within the cloth. The result is a tactile surface where the portrait, colours and abstract markings become part of the construction of the garment.

The jacket is finished with a structured collar, cropped silhouette and metal zip, bringing the complexity of the woven artwork into a contemporary streetwear form.

Only 10 jackets have been created for this collaboration.

Each piece represents a meeting point between LOK's artwork, traditional textile craftsmanship and RepKulture's approach to making African-inspired culture wearable.
